Deborah has worked numerous productions with choreographer Chrissie Parrott, culminating in the success of ‘Coppelia’ for the WA Ballet Co., resulting in Deborah’s nomination for Best Costume Designer in the Helpmann Awards.

‘DE PASSAGE’
A ~1997 hiatus in France with Luka Laschon, produced ‘De Passage’ for Theatre de Marionettes, a children’s puppet theatre company. The collaboration produced handmade puppets, costumes, and original stories. The company produced several shows which toured rural France, Italy and Western Australian schools as well as the Art Gallery of WA.
‘Pearl of a Dream’ and Le Prince’
The troupe established a small independent theatre called ‘Fly by Day Club’, which was housed within the Fly by Night Club. The puppets ‘Marcel and Lily’ were made and the story produced in France. ‘Le Prince‘ was produced in Western Australia.
